Permitted areas for tattoing
A flat area of skin without wrinkles or folds should be chosen so that the Microdot patch can make full contact with the skin.
Tattoos cannot be applied to the shaded areas.
Aftercare guidance



You may apply a small amount of petroleum jelly to help protect the skin as it settles. You can use unscented lotion after 24 hours
If you notice any irritation, avoid applying additional products and follow Things to Avoid until it settles
Take short showers to avoid overexposure to water within the first 48 hours.
Ice your tattoo to reduce swelling if applicable.
No touching, picking, scratching, peeling, slapping, or rubbing your tattoo for 48 hours.
No soaking for 48 hours - no swimming, baths, or hot tubs. Showers are okay.
No sun exposure for at least 24 hours, use sunblock after that.
Do not wear abrasive clothing or jewellery that rub against your tattoo.
Do not let others touch your tattoo without washing their hands until after 48 hours have passed.
Avoid gym equipment, clean it well before use.
Touch-up Policy
Our Microdot tattoos are carefully formulated to deliver a vibrant, high contrast tattoo.
In the unlikely chance that you are not satisfied with the aesthetic quality of your tattoo, you may be eligible for a touch-up or replacement.
A tattoo may be considered eligible if:
- The design appears faint or has significantly faded or blurred
- The design is visibly incomplete
- The alignment/positioning of the tattoo varies greatly from the agreed location
- The fading is not consistent with normal tattoos
- The complaint is made within 24 hours to 12 weeks of your original appointment
